Our Team
Connect with our division team to get support with all aspects of guiding
Our division is led by a team of volunteers, known as the Division Executive. They work together to support delivery of safe, fun guiding activities for everyone in Portishead Division.
The Division Executive is led by our Division Commissioner, Della Salway
Della became Division Commissioner in September 2018. She is a leader with Portishead Rangers and 4th Portishead Guides, a trainer, and is currently a member of the Girlguiding Board of Trustees.
She has previously been a Brownie leader and District Commissioner, and has volunteered for and been a Board member and Treasurer of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
Della recently retired, and was formerly a financial services professional, acting as an advisor to businesses, a process engineer, and ran a management information team.
Representing you on the Portishead Division Executive
The Division Executive is responsible for developing and implementing the Division Strategy in line with Girlguiding’s current strategic plan. They meet regularly throughout the year to discuss ideas and events, the provision of training and recruitment activities.
